Liquid Vitamin C Best Liquid Vitamin C For Guinea Pigs?

Best liquid Vitamin C for guinea pigs? - liquid vitamin c

I have 3 male piglets. Two of them Oxbow Chewable Vitamin C with no problems. The other is that in very rare cases. I know he has every day, but not the case. They are very demanding and not eat the whole fruit and vegtables, that do most of the pigs. I tried a small piece of orange and I thought they would try the bars of the cage, chewing away from him! My question is: What is the best liquid vitamin C product out there for guinea pigs? Many of these vitamins, which they bought in pet shops are many other ingredients that I wonder whether they need all these extra things!? I do not care what it costs. I only want the best! I feed Oxbow pellets, lettuce, carrots, celery, bananas, apples, and many of Oxbow hay. I do a lot of offers from other things, but typically rejected. Can they absorb too much vitamin C? They said that all the extras have to be "eliminated".
Thanks for the help!

Well, he is not sure about your homework! I can tell you really love these little guys.
Guinea pigs know what (and how to eat) to stay healthy. Instinctively, they eat what they need.
If you buy good quality food GP is not necessarily complete, because it is there.
Do not worry, they're OK. They feed them exactly what they need.

Now everything is already assembled an eclectic group of answers, I am sure, by what is a decent board and sort, which does not ... but add my two cents: I also discourages the use of liquid vitamin C. Not only is nothing like the real thing, and the jury, as far as I know, it's always a good idea or not all. Therefore, two suggestions: green cabbage and peppers. Not just some of the highest intake of vitamin C, I've never seen or pig bottom. Give them a shot. Looks as if you've tried many things, but if these do not work either, I do not know what to recommend! You pigs can be very good at what they have, yes, he does not take, because fiction has a very high content of vitamin C

I have three boys who live together and constantly does away with the myth of the fun, the boys from different litters were "fighting each other to death" and other things. In any case, my own website, because I did thata large Dork: http://www.secondstarillustrations.com/t ...
Good luck with your kids!

It seems a good care have your pig!

I found the vitamin C drops, you can find in the store for pets are a little less useless. Not just HATE the pigs like it, but as soon as neutralize the drops into the water, chlorine anyway. These drops, IMO, are a waste of time and money. They are full of nasty chemicals and preservatives.

I do not use chlorinated water mixed Puritan's Pride vitamin C crystals in a gallon container each morning. Pigs can not taste what the quality of human Vit.C. You can only buy over the Internet. And so will any surplus be eliminated ".

Since we already feed Oxbow pellets, I'm sure you know that already contain vitamin C stabilized. Try to keep stored in the dark (light is not good for vitamin C). Everything what is lost through the pads due to age or exposure to light, consists of the daily vitamin C crystals in water.

Finally, vegetables that contain many try to eat Vit. C like bell peppers, strawberries, etc., and always try to thaOrange T! Sometimes it takes some time. Experiment with different types of oranges (mandarins, Navy, etc. - Mine Clementine the best!) Or try small pieces from the center of the disc orange-break and then to his lips for the taste. (Remember to not remove all the seeds, if they are not seedless) I 3 pigs who want their slice of orange in the morning and 3 more than acting, as I have had a fever but I'm still working on them (2 are new , 1) is a cot. But do not give up!

I am sure that your pigs are thankful they have such wonderful, responsible owners. Keep up the great work!

Vitamin C for Guinea pigs are very important (as in their investigations to see;))

The best way to get to them, that vitamin C is given the option of fresh fruit and vegetables. Supplements are not necessary, unless one is ill (in this case the extra cost) and most of them are not very helpful (because it refracts light with vitamin C is gone, the type placed in the water before Drink, even!)

You can not absorb large amounts of vitamin C in the normal direction (ie, do not overdose), but over long periods of high doses of vitamin C can lead to a form of pseudo-scurvy, they are dependent on the dose, high in vitamin C. (For example, is 25 to 50 mg of normal adult guinea pigs ... they receive, 500 mg daily for several weeks, do not give to 500 mg can cause scurvy)

You look like a fat pig owners. We invite you to connect or guineapigcages.com guinealynx.info. :)

From what I get to see the long list of foods that you 3 boars enough! I have 2 sows Munch happy on cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, baby (loads of vitamin C in them) and Super-Guinea ... and hay ... Who sometimes orange and love sweet corn. I do not think you really need to worry too much liquid vitamin C, because there is enough in the food you your 3rd Unfortunately you can not force him to eat a piggy bank. They can be very stubborn. Did you try to sugar candy?
Good luck ..

You may not want to hear from a pet store owner, but ......... After successfully raising and care of pigs for many years to have a complement of vitamins and minerals found useless. We are not even the values of our store. The purchase of a balloon, as Timothy, animal feed and fruit and vegetables regularly. The fruits are also available: pink grapefruit, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon and apples. Timothy hay is great for biting and vitamins. If you go to buy water, make sure, distilled, since removal of any minerals. Guinea pigs eat their feces, from time to time, and this is normal. The chair should be firm and not soft. When the water rose, then you too much fruit and vegetables per day. When buying pellets, you will find an expiration date. Do for any other out there, do not buy food from a tray GP. Have fun with your pig. And remember that pine shavings are dangerous! It's great to take care of other interesting strange animals that can see up to the age of 9 years ago. Unfortunately, this is a pet that we adopted in frequently.

best to consult your veterinarian to make too much vitamin C. I had a guinea pig, a lack of vitamin C powder and spray on your favorate fruit and vegetables for their sticks to the surface. but they must be careful to not put too much because I think it tastes funny. I ask again UR veterinarian for the best.

Have you tried to eat cucumber? GPO used to me, all for him and his very well done for spraying in Vits.

"When in doubt, ask the vet, just a phone call.
